Ordering a Speciality Cake
Speciality cakes are a great way to celebrate a variety of occasions including birthdays, christenings, communions, confirmations, achievements, retirements, engagements and much more. Choose from a wide range of options below. Our ordering advice is also available below and the price list is at the bottom of the page. Speciality cakes are made fresh on the day of collection. Cakes can be collected from The Food Store on Ballyhaunis Road from Monday to Saturday during our regular business hours (scroll down to see our opening hours at the bottom of the page).
Buttercream cakes will last 4-5 days and need to be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
Fresh cream cakes will last approximately 2 days and need to be kept refrigerated.
Fresh fruit is not available with buttercream cakes.
Chocolate biscuit cakes are fully iced with fondant icing.
Speciality cakes are made fresh on the day of collection. Cakes ordered for a Sunday will be made by our bakers on a Saturday and can be collected in Silverbridge Shopping Centre only.

Deciding what size cake to order:
- 7″ round cake will feed 7-8 people (Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to have both writing and a picture on a 7″ round cake)
- 8″ square cake will feed 15-20 people
- 10″ square cake will feed 20-30 people
- 12″ sqaure cake will feed 40-50 people
- 14″ square cake will feed approx. 70 people
- 16″ square cake will feed approx. 100 people
- A chocolate biscuit cake will feed a lot more people, approximately double the numbers in each size above
